Meet Shawn

Shawn Steinhart has been immersed in the world of music since a young age. With his father Stuart Steinhart, a renowned Jazz bassist, and his mother, a grant-winning songwriter, Shawn's upbringing was filled with melodic inspiration. As a teenager, he delved deeper into his musical studies, drawing influences from a wide range of genres. Growing up in a studio environment at Lydian Sound Inc., he absorbed knowledge from fellow artists, making music an integral part of his existence.

With a continuous dedication to honing his craft, Shawn has pursued various avenues of musical education. He studies theory alongside his father and has received valuable vocal training from Brian Byrne, the vocalist of I Mother Earth. For almost two decades, Shawn has donned the hat of a professional performer, establishing a successful career as an artist.

Shawn's live performances captivate audiences in diverse venues such as coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. His shows are a lively mix of popular songs from various genres, including everything from current chart-toppers, to timeless rock tunes, beloved Motown favourites, and everything in between.
